What is the lead time for custom wheel builds?
Standard wheelsets typically ship within 3-5 business days. Custom configurations or hand-built carbon wheels generally require 2-3 weeks for assembly and rigorous quality testing before dispatch.
Are HED wheels tubeless compatible?
Yes, the majority of our modern rim profiles feature our patented tubeless-ready bead locks. Please ensure you use the appropriate tubeless tape and valves provided or recommended in the product manual.
What is your return policy on performance wheelsets?
We offer a 30-day return policy on unused items in their original packaging. Please note that custom-built wheels may be subject to a restocking fee unless there is a manufacturing defect.
Do you offer a warranty on carbon rims?
Every HED wheelset comes with a 5-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. We also offer a crash replacement program to help you get back on the road at a discounted rate in the event of accidental damage.
How should I maintain my HED hubs and bearings?
We recommend a basic service every 2,000 miles or after riding in extremely wet conditions. Use high-quality synthetic grease and avoid high-pressure power washers directly on the bearing seals.
